- Always use very cold butter.
- For flakiness, retain few small chunks of butter in the dough.
- Use minimum amount of water while preparing dough.
- Before rolling the dough, make a disc of dough and chill for at least 2 hour.
- Time to time turn the dough at the time of roll out.
- At the time of transferring dough into a pie plate, gently fit it in.
- Before baking, chill the pie plate.
